One thing everyone at Milk Can has in common is their passion for tabletop gaming. From board games, to RPGs, miniature wargaming and CCGs, we get it. Unfortunately, what we don’t have is time. Tracking down others with similar interests to try new games, or play games we already have, can be a hassle. We found the classic ways of tracking down players and events cumbersome and, oftentimes, irrelevant. Enter the creation of Gamefor
The first thing we wanted to do was reimagine the Looking For Players bulletin board at the back of every Friendly Local Gaming Store (FLGS). This led us down a path of trying to help those FLGS, the backbone of the gaming community, find a way to attract players and customers. The creation of event listings for stores, allowing them to move away from Facebook and Google Calendar, with tools custom made for their website, was a huge step for this. As so it went, feature after feature. Now, Gamefor sports a user base of over 40,000 registered gamers world wide, with over 4000 upcoming events listed in the app at any time.
Game manufacturers and distributors are always looking for a better way to get their products in front of customers who have an interest. Due to this, we launched Gamefor Ads, which allows companies in the tabletop gaming space to market directly to customers who will buy their products.
